July 2008
Regrettably, the number of Massachusetts soldiers killed in Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom has increased.  We believe four more children are eligible for MSLF tuition assistance and will update our list upon confirmation from Dept of Defense records.

For the Children of Servicemen and Women Lost in Battle.

From the Revolutionary War to current day, Massachusetts has been the birthplace of military heroes. On December 1, 2004 The Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund was established. The sole purpose and activity of the fund will be to grant money to current and future college and university students who are children of Massachusetts Servicemen and Women dying in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund is the first statewide public charity for fallen military heroes. There are hundreds of servicemen and women from Massachusetts currently deployed in combat operations in either Iraq or Afghanistan. Of these brave young men and women, many have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

The Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund hopes to honor the sacrifice of Massachusetts servicemen and women who have died in combat by supporting their surviving children in all future educational endeavors. The MSL Fund supports the children of Massachusetts fallen heroes from all service branches: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard.

All donations, both large and small, are appreciated. If you would like to honor these fallen sons and daughters of Massachusetts please make a donation today.
