The Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund Leadership Breakfast

On November 6, 2008, the Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund hosted the second annual leadership breakfast at the new Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Boston. Featured speakers included Boston Mayor Tom Menino, Boston sports team leaders: Wyc Grousbeck, CEO of the Boston Celtics; Larry Lucchino, President and CEO of the Boston Red Sox; Jonathan Kraft, President of the New England Patriots; and Charlie Jacobs, Executive VP of the Boston Bruins. Former Boston Bruins player Gord Kluzak served as the Master of Ceremonies and other speakers were MSLF Founder Peter Trovato, MSLF Trustee Rob Hale, and Colonel John Lowrey III of the US Marine Corps

The MSLF is eternally grateful to all of the participants for their involvement in the Breakfast, but most of all, for their continued support of the MSLF. The Fund’s mission of honoring Massachusetts’ fallen heroes by providing tuition assistance to their surviving children could not be achieved without the generosity of so many caring individuals.
