"When my dad, Glenn Allison died in Operation Iraqi Freedom I was just seven years old, money and college were not something I was thinking about, but luckily the The Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund (MSLF) were thinking ahead for me.
Thanks to them I am able to receive a great education at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts with great quality materials that I would not have access to on my own.
I am truly blessed to have had an amazing and brave father, and I am still being blessed today to have the MSLF to help me as I go through college.
My dad was taken at only 24, and as I get closer to that age, I realize I am not only living for myself, but also for him.
The MSLF makes that easier, and gives me opportunities to make him proud."

With your support my son was able to fill his middle school and high school years with memorable memories of camp activities. With your support he was able to purchase a laptop to pull through the isolated homeschooling days from the stay-at-home order due to Covid. Still, with your continued support you have freed us from the worry from cost of textbooks and course fees. I do not utilize our military benefits enough because of the overwhelming information and steps required to access it but with MSLF, especially with the guidance of Erica asking for help was seamless. Joshua is a sophomore in college thriving in Criminal Justice/Political Science; Kaylee is a junior in high school who is excelling at Natural Resource Management. They have benefited immensely from help and guidance given by the MSLF. They show the kids as they are growing up and as young adults that they are cared about and offer every resource and guidance they can to help them succeed.
